WELL, THIS APPEARS TO BE JUST MORE OF THE SAME : IN OUR OPINION, THIS HAS THE GREASY SMELL OF A MAJOR LOBBYING EFFORT ON BEHALF OF LIBERTY ENERGY ! LOBBYISTS – FOR EXAMPLE PATRICK O’REILLY IN RIVERSIDE – ARE KNOWN TO USE THEIR INFLUENCE IN SACRAMENTO AND HAVE THE GOVERNOR’S EAR, WHEN NEEDED.
CALL THE GOVERNOR (916) 445-2841 AND DEMAND THAT HE RETRACTS THIS BIASED LETTER – HE DID NOT HAVE ALL THE FACTS AND SHOULD HAVE DONE MUCH MORE RESEARCH INSTEAD OF RUBBER STAMPING AN INCINERATOR DISGUISED AS A “GREEN” POWER PLANT.
Of course, legally, the Governor does not have the authority to “approve” this project for Banning. Only the City of Banning can do so. That is why we can stop this project with our initiative,
IS IT ANY WONDER THAT MANY CONSIDER SCHWARZENEGGER THE WORST GOVERNOR CALIFORNIA EVER HAD ?
